Konica Auto S2 35mm film camera, front

Konica Auto S2

£195.00

The Konica Auto S2 is a 35mm rangefinder from 1965, and one of the most highly regarded fixed lens rangefinders of the decade. Its Hexanon 45mm f/1.8 lens is sharp and contrasty when stopped down, with a smooth, gentle rendering wide open, while the bright coupled rangefinder makes precise focusing quick and easy. Exposure is metered by a CdS cell in the front of the lens, inside the filter thread, so it reads through any filter. It gives shutter priority automatic exposure, with full manual control available whenever it is needed. Solidly built and well balanced in the hand, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a fast lens in a classic rangefinder body.

Please note: this is a preowned vintage product, you can find our condition report and more item details below.
