The Leica R4 is a compact 35mm SLR from the early 1980s, representing Leica’s move into multi-mode exposure while keeping its precise manual handling. Lightweight but solidly built, it offers aperture-priority, shutter-priority, programme and full manual control, making it one of the most versatile R-series bodies.
Paired with the Leitz Wetzlar Summicron-R 50mm f/2, a German-made lens renowned for its sharpness, natural contrast and classic Leica rendering.

Fair: Noticeable wear, including dents or marks. Fully functional unless stated otherwise in the listing.
60-Day Guarantee
Buying vintage items can feel like a gamble, so every camera, lens and accessory comes with a 60-day guarantee. All items are properly tested and prepared before sale, and if a fault appears within the first 60 days, we aim to repair it within two weeks of being returned. If the item can’t be repaired, we’ll provide a like-for-like replacement, refund or store credit. This guarantee doesn’t cover accidental impact or water damage.
