Asahi Pentax 50mm f1.4 SMC Takumar

Asahi Pentax 50mm f1.4 SMC Takumar

£175.00

A Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 50mm f1.4 in M42 mount, one of the sharper and more contrasty versions in the Takumar lineup. This is the later S-M-C variant with improved multi-coating, better flare resistance and more consistent colour than the earlier models. The optical formula here is the desirable seven-element design, giving strong centre sharpness, smooth falloff and a classic, soft-edged bokeh wide open. Build quality is typically solid for Asahi, with a smooth focus throw and precise aperture clicks from f1.4 to f16.

Compatible with all M42-mount bodies and adapts well to digital systems thanks to its long focus throw and clean rendering.

Please note: this is a preowned vintage product, you can find our condition report and more item details below.
